Peter has over 20 years of experience as an automotive finance professional including key assignments in the areas of product development, marketing and sales, manufacturing, and cost estimating. Peter began his career at Ford Motor Company in 1989 before moving on to Breed Technologies (later re-named Key Safety Systems) in 1999 and ultimately joining Carbon Motors in 2008, having gained valuable experience at both the OEM and Tier 1 levels.
Peter held a variety of finance positions at Ford Motor Company including vehicle finance supervisor for the large car product development organization, revenue and profit analysis for the marketing and sales operations, product launch at the Michigan Truck Plant as well as developmental assignments in the manufacturing business office, body engineering, and the climate control division.
At Key Safety Systems, Peter was the Vice President of Finance for the Steering Wheel and Accessories division. He led the finance and control functions of the $175+ million division consisting of five manufacturing facilities and three engineering centers across six countries.
Since joining the Carbon Motors team, Peter’s efforts have been focused on performing key financial analysis, supporting the investor relations activity, interacting with various financial auditors, implementing and maintaining the accounting system, launching and maintaining the Carbon Collection online store and supporting the Pure Justice Tour across the country.
Peter earned an MBA from the Warrington College of Business at the University of Florida, as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Florida. In addition, while at the University of Florida, he was elected to the business programs’ honor society of Beta Gamma Sigma, along with the engineering honor societies of Tau Beta Pi and Pi Tau Sigma.
