The city of Connersville welcomes Carbon Motors’ Pure Justice Tour to town on Tuesday, May 5, with an afternoon rally and presentation that the city hopes will bring the automaker to this Southeastern Indiana city. This is a public event and everyone is invited to attend.

Connersville, a city of around 15,000, is one of the finalists for a new Carbon Motors manufacturing plant. Carbon Motors is the developer of the Carbon E7 purpose built law enforcement patrol vehicle, built specifically to handle the needs and rigors of police and homeland security departments.

“Connersville is a great location for industry to relocate, but our greatest asset is our workforce,” said Bryan Coats, executive director for the Connersville Economic Development Group. “We’re confident that once Carbon Motors’ executives come to town and meet our residents, they will see how Connersville will be a perfect fit for their plant.”

Officials from Carbon Motors will come to Indiana for a two-day tour, starting in Connersville on Tuesday, May 5, to meet with local officials and visit the proposed Carbon Motors Campus at the former Visteon plant. The rally starts at 4 p.m. on Tuesday with the unveiling of the E7 law enforcement vehicle. Carbon Motors officials also will meet with state legislators in Indianapolis on Wednesday and tour a proposed training center for prospective Carbon Motors employees.

“Welcome Carbon Motors” signs have been up for the last month around Connersville’s businesses, and the city is selling Carbon Motors T-shirts, with the proceeds going to the non-profit of Carbon Motors’ choice.

The National Criminal Enforcement Association is a 501 c (3) non-profit organization that is dedicated to training law enforcement professionals in the area of pro-active criminal enforcement. Whether the officer is involved in uniformed patrol or undercover operations, NCEA provides invaluable training to America’s law enforcement personnel.

The training provided is important to the success of the law enforcement profession in its fight against the criminal element. All law enforcement agencies should be a part of this memorable experience. After spending time with Carbon’s E7, please stay for the training.

Recognizing that training budgets are tight with the current state of our national economy, each agency is extended an invitation to an administrator and a guest to attend our 10th Annual Winter Conference and Networking Seminar at no charge.

To redeem this offer, please contact Douglas Wright, NCEA’s Executive Director, at dwright@ncea314.com or (843) 875-8909. For more information on the conference and an agenda, please visit www.ncea314.com.

Carbon Motors Corporation is a proud sponsor of NCEA’s 10th Annual Winter Conference.
