Alan J Bratt Named CPO Of Carbon Motors™

ATLANTA, GEORGIA – Carbon Motors Corporation, a new American automaker developing the world’s first purpose-built law enforcement patrol vehicle, has named Alan J Bratt as its Vice-President and Chief Production Officer. Bratt will report to William Santana Li, Chairman and CEO of Carbon Motors and will have responsibility for feasibility, production, procurement, logistics, facilities and production integration matters.

“With over 45 years in the industry and having personally built 9 automotive assembly plants and been involved in over 40 manufacturing facilities on 5 continents as well as having successfully launched 120 vehicles programs, Alan carries the exceptional capabilities we seek in all of our teammates,” said Li.

“I have spent the entirety of my career developing innovative low-to-mid volume manufacturing facilities all over the world, especially in the emerging markets,” commented Bratt. “It is quite invigorating to be able to apply those experiences to an all-new type of facility here in the USA.”

Prior to joining Carbon Motors, Bratt was Director of Material Planning & Logistics as well as Director of Manufacturing & Quality at Ford Motor Company for the Asia Pacific region. He also held a number of manufacturing related assignments of increasing responsibility across the globe including providing manufacturing and supply support for, Australia, New Zealand, Turkey, Portugal, Malaysia, Thailand, China, India, Venezuela, Argentina, Morocco, Ghana, Nigeria, Senegal, Kenya and South Africa.

Bratt is an Incorporated Member of the UK Institution of Engineering Technology and holds qualifications in production and mechanical engineering. He is acknowledged as a worldwide industry expert in the field of low volume vehicle manufacturing inclusive of designing, commissioning and managing assembly systems in the range from 1,000 units per annum to 100,000 units per annum.
