Carbon Motors Opens NASDAQ Market
Prepared Remarks by William Santana Li,Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Carbon Motors Corporation
New York, NY — April 23, 2009. Carbon Motors Corporation today made its official stop in New York City as part of the 2009 Pure Justice Tour for the Carbon ‘E7’, the world’s first purpose-built law enforcement vehicle. In honor of this occasion, Carbon Motors was invited to ring the opening bell at NASDAQ. Included are prepared remarks by William Santana Li, chairman and chief executive officer, Carbon Motors Corporation.
“Ladies and gentlemen, good morning! On behalf of Carbon Motors Corporation I would like to thank our new friends at NASDAQ for the kind invitation to open the market today. Carbon Motors is a bold, new homeland security company on a critical mission to develop the world’s first purpose-built law enforcement patrol vehicle.
“The Carbon E7 represents 10,000 new American jobs all dressed up in red, white, and blue, and 300 horsepower. It is a cause that is truly American, and it is exactly the type of innovation our country so sorely needs at this particular moment in our history. It symbolizes the fight against crime, the fight for our environment, and the fight against terrorists.
“With a stellar team, world-class partners and a market that is clamoring for the Carbon E7 with a $500 million backlog, Carbon Motors is well on its way to fulfilling the country’s moral obligation to provide our law enforcement first responders with the same level of technical capability, unparalleled safety, and respect that we as a nation provide our military.
“As we ring this bell today, let it be known that American industrial patriots still exist in this country.
“As we ring this bell today, let it be said that the years of blood, sweat, and tears put into this cause has made this day a special one.

You are the true heroes that secure and protect our homeland against threats, both foreign and domestic. You are the ones that awake at the 3:00am in the morning, you are the ones that keep our families safe, you are the ones in the line of fire, and you are the ones that risk your lives day in and day out for us.
“As we ring this bell today, let it be heard that a nation thanks every single one of you for your service. To the commissioner in California and the captain in Florida and the deputy chief in Texas to the officer in Chicago and the chief in Washington DC to the finest right here in New York City.
